Navarino Services

The Navarino Services reservation management system (CRS) gives you connectivity to all of the world's major Global Distribution Systems (GDS). These systems are available to a network of travel agencies worldwide, 24 hours x 7 days a week, allowing over 650,000 travel professional companies access to your hotel's inventory. The CRS also connects to consumer reservations websites (IDS channels) that are powered by the Pegasus switch, such as Travelocity, Orbitz, Bookings.com and Expedia. In addition, the reservation management system connects you to your own Website Booking Engine, called Guest Connect.

My Virtual Visitor - John Fergusson - professional videography

 My Virtual Visitor was established in 2010 to create professional internet video for businesses in the hospitality, tourism and leisure industries. The man behind it is Moffat-based video-maker, John Fergusson, who spent twenty five years producing programmes for the BBC. He worked across news, features and documentaries, covering topics as diverse as the impact of oil development on Scotland’s Northern Isles to the efforts being taken to restore coral reefs in Fiji.  He is now concentrating on bringing high production standards to short hotel marketing videos. 

Video is becoming an increasingly important aspect of hotel websites  – website visitors now expect them  – yet many hotels either don’t have one, or accept generic videos made to a formula.  John Fergusson believes that’s the wrong approach. ‘Videos should do much more than simply show what the inside of a hotel looks like. Good footage, combined with appropriate music and careful production can give the viewer a feel for the hotel, an idea of the experience they’ll have when they stay there. A good hotel video can be the difference between people booking on your site, or clicking off to investigate the alternatives.'
